Final Reflection
Hello everyone. I cannot believe I am done with my portfolio project. This project is made up of my blood, sweat, tears, and a lot of editing, but I'm so glad it's over. I learned and grew so much over the course of this project, and I can't believe this concludes half of my AICE Exam for AICE Media Studies AS. In hindsight, there are definitely things I would do differently if I could, but there is no point in dwelling on the past. Looking forward, I hope to apply these skills to future projects, especially time management. I really stuck to my schedule for the most part, and I'm so happy I did so. I was worried about taking this class; before, I had little to no experience in film production, but I learned and grew so much over the course of the year and this project.
Working alone, which I haven't really done on any of my productions this year, gave me creative freedom and was a challenge I had to face. I had to make a lot of decisions, and everything came down to my choices. I liked the creative freedom. I got to choose my genre, my plot, which is inspired by myself in 7th grade, my actor, my setting, everything. It made the process easier, and I learned to trust myself. I am so proud and happy with how my project turned out. I hope you guys enjoy!
Next up is grading. Now all I can do is wait...
